Handcrafted slowly by skilled artisans in the Sacred Valley in Cusco, Peru. Made using ethically produced organic cotton. The Aquarium Pullover has an oversized, boxy fit that feels natural from the first wear. Rooted in Amano heritage, the Aquarium Pullover is a soft, heirloom piece designed to be lived in and loved for years.

About Amano:

Rooted in over forty years of craftsmanship, Amano began with a journey through South America, and a deep appreciation for knitwear made a mano (by hand). Since 1988, we have worked closely with skilled artisans across Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, honouring time-tested knitting techniques and celebrating the human connection behind every piece.

Inspired by the past yet always looking to the future, Amano is committed to ethical, fair-trade production and the use of natural fibres. That’s why on our garment tags you’ll find the name of the exact knitter who handmade your sweater.

Faye (1st model) is a size small, 5'6", wearing a medium. Rose (2nd model) is a size L/XL, 5'4", wearing a large.

Materials & Care

Made from 100% organic cotton and handcrafted in Peru. To care for your knitwear, we recommend hand washing or using a cold, gentle machine cycle with a wool-approved detergent. Avoid unnecessary washing to help preserve the fibres and extend the life of the garment. After washing, gently remove excess water by rolling in a towel and dry flat on a rack away from direct heat.
